JAMA - BIR4 V2 Infrared barrier without reflector for SONY (S2) :
NEW FEATURE! -->
Possibility to choose a BURST trigger, when the animal remains placed in front of the beam, or to keep a single trigger by beam cut, using a new micro switch placed inside the barrier!
This infrared barrier can trigger a camera or a flash (bat in flight) on the cutoff of the beam which operates without reflector or emitter in front.
The BIR4 module is equipped with a built-in transceiver.
This barrier will allow the device to be triggered on a specific area such as, for example, a tree branch, a cliff perch ...
This set must be powered by a battery.
A small JAMA module incorporated into the device allows the interface between the camera and this barrier from the industrial world. Few adjustments are necessary, just open the small transparent hatch on the top of the module with a screwdriver, and adjust the range of the detector.
Warning: In the event of rain or snow, this module may trip unnecessarily.
The range of this barrier is approximately 2 meters. The beam is relatively thin, around 5cm in diameter.
Consumption is around 0.02A, i.e. with a 2.8A battery with 140h autonomy (5 d and 10 h). The battery is not included. You will find it in the "Food" section in the "Infrared barrier" sub-section and photo trap: HERE
The module is perfectly sealed if the 2 valve closing screws are properly closed.
