Limit the effects of the atmospheric veil and obtain contrasting images in all circumstances with this water-repellent UV filter available from diameter 46mm to diameter 105mm for your compact, hybrid, or DSLR. By acting on the short waves of ultraviolet, the SIGMA water-repellent UV filter makes it possible in particular to ensure blues that are always faithful, particularly useful for landscape photography at altitude where UV rays are most important. Its water repellent treatment also helps repel liquids and grease in order to effectively protect your front lens and guarantee your images optimal quality.
High quality filters compatible with all SIGMA lenses

SIGMA has designed the entire range of SIGMA filters to be compatible with all the objectives in the range. SIGMA has also ensured that this protection filter ensures very homogeneous light transmission over the entire field of the image, from the center to the corners. All the objectives of the new SIGMA lines are verified on an exclusive FTM (Modulation transfer function) measurement bench (A1) using a 46 million pixel Foveon direct image sensor, and the SIGMA filters are manufactured to respect the same quality standards.
Water repellent treatment (WR)

The WR water-repellent treatment limits the reflection of the visible spectrum to 0.24%, thus minimizing flare and ghost lights. Its water repellency with water and fatty substances is also remarkable: water does not adhere, and fingerprints are easily removed. This treatment also has a lubricating capacity which reduces the risk of scratches by ten compared to the classic SIGMA Super Multi Layer treatment. Its antistatic function avoids attracting dust or small particles and facilitates their elimination.
