BWG-JR 3 kit pendulum head with HM-J2 adapter.

The perfect travel companion, easy to carry while remaining very efficient.

Smaller and lighter but effective!

The JOBU DESIGN Black Widow Jr.3 Pendulum Head (BWG-J3K) is smaller, lighter and more flexible than its predecessor.

The patella is about 2.5 cm lower than its predecessor. In addition, using a hollow aluminum base arm, this swivel head is 30 grams lighter. The brand new and removable HM-J2 swing arm is machined from a single block of solid, unmolded aluminum. As a result, the Jr. 3 is stiffer and stronger than its predecessor which makes this pendulum head ideal for traveling.

Also easy to use with gloves:

Needle bearings provide flexible tilt behavior at full load and more precise adjustment of the degree of friction. The blocking force is increased by 200% causing tremendous rigidity, which prevents unwanted vibrations in the head. In addition, the rubberized adjustment dials make the control comfortable to use, which means that even with gloves, this pendulum head is easy to adjust!

This swivel head was designed for lenses and cameras weighing up to 20 kilograms. A camera combination with 70-200mm f/2.8 100-400mm or 300mm f/2.8 is no problem. A heavier combination would be possible, but Jobu Design prefers to recommend the BWG-HD3 or BWG-Pro in this case.

More space for the device:

The HM-J2 arm offers more space for the device than before, but Jobu Design recommends the use of the pendulum head with a device without battery grip. This is because otherwise the tilt point of the camera / lens combination comes too close to the camera body in the case of a shorter lens. As a result, the maximum degree of inclination is limited.
