When you take a photo one-handed, you never hold the camera perfectly still. The few millimeters of movement you create can - especially in macro photography - quickly cause blur in the photo. Many macro photographers therefore opt for a tripod. The MP-150 is a macro rail that is easy to mount on Leofoto tripods (or other brands). Once you've attached your camera, you can slide it back and forth with pinpoint precision, then attach it at the perfect distance from your subject.

 

Robust, reliable and easy to use

The MP-150 is made from aluminum with an anodized finish. This Arca Swiss compatible rail has a ¼’ threaded connection. The NP-50 Quick Connect Plate can be adjusted to three positions using the sturdy dial: locked to prevent your device from moving when you have reached the correct position, fully open to move the device back and forth, and to half open to make final fine adjustments.


 

Aeronautical Aluminum Quick Connect Plate

Thanks to its length of 50 mm, the NP-50 is perfectly lockable in any Arca-Swiss quick coupling. It is cast in black anodized aeronautical aluminum and hollowed out to save weight. Therefore, this quick connect plate is very strong and durable, but also extremely light.

On this model, the tray is lockable using a quick lever. (no knob to screw)
