Many drawings and photograps accompany the text. At the end of the CD, several sound atmospheres allows the listener to test his acquired knowledge. The recordings (of François Charron and the BBC) were made in France, Great Bretain and Spain.Examples of musical transcriptions and sonogrammes were especially accomplished by music professors and the University of Nottingham.
