Descriptive :
13 species of European Sylvia Warblers, from familiar such as Garden Warbler and Blackcap to the rarest such as Orphean Warbler. At the end there is a sound guide to all 13 species indexed but not announced.
The warblers are a large family of small, insectivorous birds found almost throughout the old world. Europe is well represented, with no less than 35 species, out of a total of about 350.
Our species fall naturally into several well-defined groups, each with shared characteristics of morphology, behaviour and, to some extent, voice. This CD concentrates on just one group, the Sylvia Warblers, of which the best known are Blackcap, Garden Warbler and Whitethroat. 62 minutes
