The Leofoto LS-224C Ranger lightweight carbon tripod is part of Leofoto's Ranger series of compact tripods. These lightweight tripods are designed for stability in all circumstances, and for easy transportation, so anyone going into the wild will bring their Leofoto Ranger tripod with them. Leofoto's LS-224C is the bigger brother of the LS-223C tripod, but its legs are a bit longer. This carbon tripod comes with Leofoto's LH-25 ball head, center column, carry bag and multitool.

Lightweight and compact carbon tripod:

The carbon tripod is made of 10 layers of cross-woven carbon fibers and reinforced, which ensures that you have a very strong but also very light tripod. The maximum working height is 117 cm without central column and without ball joint. Screw the separate center column provided on the LS-224C and the maximum height will be 148.5cm.

The minimum working height is an impressive 13 cm. Ideal for macro work at ground level.

The Leofoto LS-224C measures just 47cm when folded up, so you can take this tripod with you wherever you go.

This tripod can support up to 6 kilograms and its own weight is only 910 grams.

Tripod with removable central column:

The relatively low weight of this tripod is achieved by its modular construction with a removable central column. The 3-leg base tripod has a tripod plate made of aircraft aluminum with a 3/8 inch screw. You can attach the ball head directly to it if you want to move lightly, but if you need more working height you must first attach the center column. This one is of course also made of carbon and has its own 3/8 inch screw. The carbon tripod legs consist of 4 soft sections and have a maximum diameter of 22mm up to a diameter of 13mm. They are assembled and disassembled with a locking screw in other words a twistlock: you just have to turn the locking screw. The tripod legs have a rubber underside.

LH-25 Tripod Head:

The ultra compact but also very strong LH-25 ball head from Leofoto comes with the LS-224C carbon tripod. This small ball head is made of black anodized aircraft aluminum for added durability and has a built-in bubble level. Arca-Swiss's professional and fast PU-25 connection plate allows you to quickly mount your camera to the tripod head. Adjustment knobs allow you horizontal installation of the whole head, which can rotate 360 ??degrees. The fine graduated scale on the tripod plate allows you to fine tune the ball head. The friction of the 25mm ball can be adjusted separately with a wing nut, and the LH-25's ball can tilt 90 degrees for vertical grips. This tripod head can support up to 6 kilos.
