Carbon tripod, strong but light

Leofoto's strong yet lightweight LN-284CH Carbon Tripod is made with no less than 10 layers of crisscrossed and woven carbon fibers, which ensures maximum rigidity. The maximum working height reached without a tripod head is 163cm and the minimum height is 11.5cm. The Leofoto LN-284CH measures 55 cm when folded, so you can easily take it with you. The Leofoto LN-284CH tripod can support up to 20 kilos and it itself weighs only 1.84 kilos. The base plate is 59mm wide and has a 3/8 inch tripod screw so you can easily mount different tripod heads. A spirit level has been integrated on the top of the tripod, which is practical.

Easily removable tripod legs

The legs of the sturdy LN-284CH carbon tripod consist of 4 flexible, removable sections with a leg diameter of 28mm. They are assembled and disassembled with a locking screw in other words a twistlock. You remove the tripod legs by simply unscrewing the screw and you screw them back on just as easily. The tripod legs have a removable, shock-absorbing rubber underside for a solid grip on all kinds of surfaces. You can quickly replace them with the supplied stainless steel pegs if circumstances prove necessary. Leofoto has added a brown silica foam cover to the detachable monopod so that you won't get cold hands when you carry or hold it.

Removable central column

The tilting legs of this carbon tripod allow you to work low to the ground, but if you flip the removable center column you can really work 'above' your subject for example macro photography. The center column is easily and quickly adjusted with the wing nut on the tripod body, so you can adjust the tripod even when wearing gloves. A carbon tripod can absorb shocks perfectly, but due to its light weight it is often necessary to use a counterweight in order to be able to work stably. A removable hook designed specifically for this is located below the central column of the Leofoto LN-284CH.
