The Gitzo GT1555T Carbon Fiber Series 1 Traveler Tripod is an ultra compact tripod. Its 5-section legs fold up 180 °, a system invented by Gitzo that allows the legs to be folded over the central column even mounted with a ball head to offer a transport size of 35.5 cm. The GT1555T offers a maximum working height of 138cm and supports 10kg while it weighs only 1.03kg. It is ideal for housings with 135mm optics (up to 200mm). With the supplied short column, the minimum working height of the tripod is 20cm, ideal for ground level shots and macro photography.

The tripod legs are in eXact Carbon to guarantee rigidity and robustness while being light. The sections are locked with Traveler G-lock clamps, the travel version of Gitzo's G-locks, specially designed to ensure secure locking. Its rigid rubber feet are replaceable and it is equipped with a reversible 1/4 "and 3/8" screw thread. The Gitzo GT1555T comes with its shoulder strap for easy carrying.
