THE MAIN DIFFERENCES WITH THE OLD VERSION:

With the craze for video in recent years, it became essential to have windows offering a wider panorama.

This is now a reality with this new TRAGOPAN V7 hide.

In addition, to optimize the use of the isothermal induction provided by this hide tent, we have worked on the airtightness of its windows, which are now fully zipped, making life more difficult for mosquitoes thirsty for the blood of wildlife photographers.

The previous version came with a large blackout sleeve, this new version now has FOUR large sleeves incorporated into the window shutters on the four sides of the hide.

The door net sleeve that we successfully sold separately is now included with the hide and replaces the classic net sleeve that was previously supplied with it. You will now have a much wider field of vision. It is now attached by much larger clips that attach to the poles of the tent structure.

Finally, the last major improvement is that the legs of the tent poles are now telescopic. First advantage, it reduces the size of the tent when it is folded, but above all it allows you to have a much lower tent for those who want to photograph while sitting on the ground.

Finally, the last significant advantage is that by unfolding only two of the four telescopic legs, it is now possible to install the hide on sloping ground, a ditch or even an embankment for example.

Quick-assembly blind tent, designed for traveling photographers for short and medium-length sessions.

This blind is made of waterproof "150D Oxford" polyester, combining lightness and strength, it is covered with an isothermal induction allowing the temperature to be lowered by several degrees when the blind is exposed to the sun, or to keep the heat inside in winter and thus gain up to 8 degrees.

This induction also has the particularity of being lightproof, offering complete darkness inside the tent and thus avoiding the Chinese shadow effect when it is positioned with its back to the sun, or to see the photographer inside the tent. For night sessions, it is possible to turn on a lamp inside the blind without the light being able to be detected from the outside.

The realistic undergrowth pattern is suitable for the multi-season activity of wildlife photography, thanks to green vegetation elements incorporated into the pattern. This material is the reference material for Tragopan hides and their accessories.

The hide is equipped with a single door, opening and closing from the inside and the outside with a thick and silent zipper. An interior pocket (25 x 18cm), positioned on one of the four sides of the hide, allows the storage of unused sleeves and flaps, or any other light accessory.

The four sides of the hide all have the same layout and modularity configuration, namely:

A slightly unusual tripod passage opening that also allows shooting at ground level and the use of an observation telescope with a 45° eyepiece for digiscoping in particular.

This opening consists of a zipper with 4 sliders, two central sliders that create the opening to pass a tripod leg outside the hide, a lower slider for opening an inverted T-shaped window 15 cm from the ground and an upper slider for opening a T-shaped window to use a 45° viewing telescope while comfortably seated.

A main and modular shooting opening, wide and rectangular, fully zipped

Each main shooting window has a large blackout sleeve incorporated into the shutters. The upper half of the sleeve has a zipper to create an opening to monitor what is happening outside above the camera. You can therefore have surveillance windows on the 4 sides of the Hide.

To prevent water from running down the shooting windows, a shutter completely covers the opening from the outside, this shutter opens and closes via a cord system that is operated silently from inside the tent. In addition to the cords that open and close these shutters, a small link with an olive in the middle of the window keeps the shutter closedtight.

The hide has two vents that open and close from the inside and 4 attachment points on the outside, halfway up, in each corner to attach 4 guy ropes supplied with 4 pegs. It has straps at the base of the 4 corners for anchoring to the ground using 4 additional pegs supplied. It has 4 cords on each side sewn to the outside to attach various camouflage elements: branches, foliage, reeds or camouflage nets/blankets.

The Tragopan V7 comes with a large net sleeve that covers the entire upper half of each side; you can use it either on each shooting window or with the door half open. It attaches via a clip system to the tent poles.

In addition, 4 net screens that also attach with clips to the poles are supplied with the tent. They allow either to double the thickness of the net when used in addition to the net sleeve or to create a net screen when the surveillance window of the blackout sleeve is open.

TRAGOPAN - Additional room for V6 or V7 hide:

This extension to the Tragopan V6 or V7 hide tent allows you to either sleep there, or lie down to take shots at ground level or add a space to store equipment under cover.

It is attached by means of a zipper in place of the Tragopan V6 door.

It has a waterproof groundsheet that covers the entire extension as well as the entire floor surface of the Tragopan V6. The groundsheet rises 15 centimeters on the edges and is attached to the four corners of the Tragopan V6.

The extension is made in the same color and pattern as the Tragopan V6 / V7.

The extension is delivered with 3 pegs in a small carrying bag that fits easily into the Tragopan V6 / V7 bag.
