JAMA - Photo trap for REPTILES & BATRACIANS:

Cold-blooded animals, such as reptiles and batrachians, are undetectable by conventional photo traps. Thanks to this kit, consisting of a vertical infrared transmitter on 3 levels which allows you to trigger a photo trap in photo or video mode, you will be able to know the movements of cold-blooded animals, day and night, on a specific passage, like a toad, for example.

The infrared sensor of the photo trap can be neutralized or not and therefore also allow detection of warm-blooded species if necessary!

The distance between the transmitter and the infrared receiver is 1 Meter, but it can be + or less depending on your needs (in this case, please remember to specify it when ordering).

Transmitters and receivers are distributed on 3 levels, vertically:

    The 1st level, at the lowest, allows the detection of a subject 15 mm high.
    The 2nd allows detection on a subject that jumps at 55 mm in height.
    The 3rd and last level, the highest, will detect the fittest batrachians, up to 180 mm in height.

The set is powered by a small 12v 3.2Ah battery which also powers the photo trap which thus does not need batteries.
The set allows an autonomy of 5 days.
A mains charger is delivered with in order to be able to recharge the battery.

It is possible to have a greater autonomy with a larger battery or with a solar panel. (in this case, please specify when ordering).

The 3 elements as well as the battery are waterproof, IP66.

The photo trap used is a BROWNING Elite HP4 (ref: BTC8EHP4) one of the best on the market! (Click here to discover its characteristics)

All its functions are active. The battery drawer has been modified to be able to accommodate the connection connector with the infrared barrier.

The IR Barrier is protected against reverse polarity on the battery and a fuse for short circuits.
