The Vanguard VEO Active Birder 56 brings a new twist to the popular VEO Active series: rather than a photo/video focused bag, the Active Birder is designed for nature lovers who carry more of a kit and accessories focused on optics. Built to withstand the harshest nature, these bags are reliable companions, even when traveling to remote, off-the-beaten-path destinations.

All VEO Active bags are designed to be durable. Made from 840D ripstop nylon featuring herringbone and double reverse stitching with waterproof zippers (and a rain cover for those wetter days), the series offers maximum weather and tear resistance.
VEO Active bags are also designed to provide maximum comfort. This includes a reinforced aluminum frame, which increases the level of protection of your kit and is designed to follow the curve of the upper spine. The back is well padded with a wide air circulation system and the straps can be adjusted to keep your back close to the body.

VEO Active birding bags also include a host of other features, such as a waterproof compartment that can hold a water bladder of up to 2 liters and a USB port to let you charge on the go, whether it's your camera or your GPS.
