The Top Lock Traveler quick release adapter allows you to attach an Arca-Swiss type swivel to Manfrotto Befree 494 or 496 ball joints. It is the first Arca-Swiss Manfrotto adapter. It is compact enough to fit the entire range of Manfrotto Befree travel tripods, the legs of which fold over the ball head and therefore onto the adapter allow for an extremely compact format when folded.

Made of ultralight aluminum, this adapter has a spirit level on 2 axes to precisely frame and capture straight and perfectly composed images. You can thus exploit the full potential of your camera, while reducing post-production times. The adapter has an ergonomic side locking screw to lock the tray and keep your device in place when taking pictures. The button remains attached to the adapter thanks to a mechanism that blocks it when the opening is maximum.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: To install the MSQ6T adapter on the ball head of your Befree tripod, simply unscrew the current tray holder from your ball head using the Allen key provided, then replace it with your MSQ6T adapter. Replace your own screw to secure the adapter to the ball joint.

The Arca-Swiss compatible quick release plate is not included with the adapter, it can be purchased separately (recommended reference: 200PL-PRO).

If you have a Befree tripod, please remove the quick plate and check the model of your ball joint on the plate holder.
