In the heart of Equatorial Africa, between lakes and mountains, is the last sanctuary of great apes: Uganda. It is in the depths of an impenetrable forest that lives Toti, a particularly endearing alpha male chimpanzee. This exceptional individual of intelligence reigns over his clan wisely. He travels his territory to unify his community and prevent enemy intrusions. But sometimes his spirit flies away to the wide open spaces of the savannah, to the sources of the Nile, where the pachyderms snap under the sharp look of the leopard ... Higher up on the volcanoes, Toti imagines his cousins, the mountain gorillas, these giants with a silvery back, playing with their little ones ... So, aware of the diversity of the world around him, Toti savors day after day the benefits of a preserved nature.
