The Kenko TELEPLUS HD 2x DGX Teleconverter is a high precision fabricated optical device to be installed between the camera body and the primary lens. Its purpose is to multiply the focal length of the lens according to its multiplication factor, changing your lens to telephoto, with minimal loss of resolution and image sharpness.

For example, a 2x teleconverter can turn a 70-200mm lens into a 140-400mm lens.

HD is a standard series of tele-converters designed to accommodate high-resolution DSLR cameras and lenses and to achieve the best results when used with lenses that have a focal length of 50mm or more.

Precautions:

Turn off the optical correction, vibration reduction (VR) or image stabilization (IS) functions, focus assist and AF micro-adjustment functions before using the Kenko TELEPLUS teleconverter.

Correct operation and accuracy of AF mode only when the lens has a resulting aperture * of f / 5.6 or faster. If the resulting aperture is greater than f / 5.6, manual focus is strongly recommended.
