The APC 42 binoculars have 2 battery compartments. Each case contains 2 standard AA batteries. One compartment holds 2 working AA batteries that will run for 60 hours. The other contains 2 spare AA batteries. After the first 60 hours of use, simply change the batteries and continue for another 60 hours.

Smart features like the KITE APC (angle control) system puts the stabilization electronics into sleep mode when the instrument is in the rest position (hanging around the neck) and automatically activates the system when you start observing again. This results in a considerable increase in battery life and ease of use. And whatever its position (resting or active), after 90 minutes, the instrument turns off automatically to save energy.

The APC 42's stabilization capability goes beyond suppressing vibrations caused by wind or hand tremors. Its stabilization capacity is 2x to 3x greater than that of other mainstream stabilized binoculars on the market. APC stabilized binoculars have a military-grade stabilization system that provides stable vision when used in moving vehicles, boats, planes, helicopters and other unstable platforms.
