To make video, choose a FLUID HEAD, specially designed for this!

First check the weight it is able to support (preferably choose a "supported load" always a little higher than the actual weight of your equipment to ensure maximum stability).

Depending on whether you make wildlife film as an amateur or professional, choose a quality/price ratio range best suited to your needs.

The highest-end head has better friction, they offer good resistance to the heaviest lenses and therefore have excellent fluidity. Their price is therefore higher.
