There are plenty of wildlife photographers and videographers at the last show in Spain, all of whom had extremely expensive equipment and lenses, but none of them could compete with a proper microphone.

Shotgun microphones are designed to be extremely directional to block sound from the sides; however, they do not perform as well as parabolic microphones in terms of amplification and noise floor.

 

Each naturalist recorder carries its own recorder and a parabola in opposite hands. There will be too much equipment to carry around when making a movie, and managing a large dish is usually difficult.

  The goal was to design something that would free your hands so you could focus and start your movie.

  Plus, you can use it in standalone mode, connecting directly to a tripod mound.

  There are two high quality microphone capsules, which come as a calibrated matched pair, with very low noise.

Conveniently, there are no batteries required, as the device runs on mains power directly from the recorder.

Incoming sound is concentrated in the center of each reflector, this way even weaker sound can also be easily captured by highly sensitive and low self-noise pickups.

The stereophonic effect gives immersive surround sound in every natural environment with each sound localized in its own spatial position.
