The M500 microphone is easily used with a tablet PC or laptop to record bat calls and other ultrasonic signals in the highest quality.



The M500 USB ultrasonic microphone comes in a small, durable aluminum case. It uses the same advanced electret microphone technology as the well-known D500X detector and can be used in both directional and omnidirectional mode (with or without a directional horn).



Low-noise technology, high sample rate and effective anti-aliasing filter deliver the highest quality recordings.



The microphone comes with a free "Lite" version of the easy-to-use BatSound Touch recording program that saves recordings as 16-bit wav files. Real-time display of waveform and spectrogram as well as real-time monitoring of bat calls are also available. The program offers different trigger modes; manual and automatic, with or without pre-triggering, level triggering or frequency triggering.



Please note that the tablet and cable are for reference only. The tablet is not included with the M500-384 and the supplied cable is USB Mini-B/USB-A type.
