TRAGOPAN - Floating hide:


The tragopan floating hide is a so-called "rigid" hide.


It is a dense plastic shell made up of 3 elements, which folds in half for transport and which, once opened, is padlocked by two metal fasteners which solidify the three elements.

Solid, this hide is intended to be reassuring by its size and lift.

The floating carriage is designed to accommodate a pendulum ball head (or other) and two slots dedicated to accommodating your forearms are equipped with black non-slip foam coating. A cup holder is on the left side and can accommodate a thermos of tea/coffee or a beer, depending on the time of year.


The tent (and poles) supplied with the hide is attached to the rigid supporting structure by snaps.


The tent is made of thermal and technical fabric that allows you to observe without being seen (even if you use a headlamp with the windows closed for installation at dawn).


The multiple windows allow optimal visibility to be able to manage its movements in relation to the birds, without the slightest hindrance.


A sleeve accommodates your lens.


Many pockets are present inside the tent, to accommodate your smartphone, memory cards, car keys, ...


Outside the hide tent are places to attach vegetation to make the hide even more discreet. It can also be a 3D camo canvas or a Ghillie.


For a weight of 17 Kg and dimensions of 88cm x 66cm x 35cm it fits in your car trunk without incident.
